honestly i couldnt tell ya personally i think the quality of manga and anime has gone down ever since the turn of the decade, but poor cindy she felt jelly and used the demon book and may end up sucking out her masters soul

well thats cuz furry art focus on feelings and intimacy and manga got those forbidden for some reason, even ecchi manga got a surprising lack of people acting like humans but instead go around like horny puppets

It probably has to do with editors or managers get in the way of the artist trying to tell their story. The people in charge of putting out the story simply are like I want this to be the next this anime of the past or this manga of the past and won't let the creative people do their thing.
