(Disclaimer: I'm aware that Daisy's grandmother Lily appeared directly in an episode of Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers/Mixed-Up Adventures later on, but that feels like a continuity error to the events of the Minnie's Bow-Toons episode "Bessie Rides Again" so I overlook the events of that particular episode.)

Daisy was finishing up work at Mickey's garage for the day, and in the middle of changing from her workboots back into her normal shoes and trying to make her hair a bit more presentable for when she made a quick stop at the store before going home.

But when she was sitting in the seat of Bessie (the name of her late grandmother Lily's old ice cream truck) and getting ready, she caught a glance of the locket containing the photo of herself with her grandmother as a baby and started crying even though it's been at least five years since Lily passed away now.
