Dummy varoom, you can't fly!

Time for my mildly pretentious comment of the week.

The Old World likely had its benefits, it was a simpler time with less conflict (until THEY happened), as well as the general fact that free love is fun for most. The problem is that the old world wasn't even the problem that much, but the fact that the natural order was disrupted by something which literally would have stripped all free will from everyone and turn them into mindless slaves to their instincts.

So... Either way there are restrictions, but at least under civilization you have the free will to even philosophize about it.

You have an extra syllallable in "ostracisized" ^_^

This is the first time the story explicitly mentions concealment (how exactly were they hiding those bigass cities?) and sexual chastity (implied by all the social anxiety around sex). I feel like these elements, especially the latter, should have been addressed more directly by the narration, given their likely importance to the story.

At least we now have the central tension of the story laid out. So everyone's afraid that "normal" sexuality will mutate into unstoppable nymphomania, so in addition to the tall city walls, they clamp down on sex---well, "public degeneracy"---and punish any offenders. (Though the specifics of that are still fuzzy. Are people not allowed to have kids? Can monogamous couples not have sex? Etc.)

Gotta give credit for putting focus on such an unconventional Pokemon (the Varoom). I've never seen it before this comic!

I honestly hope you got a [Note] patch to fill in the curiosity I have for what is said on the newspaper that's in the comic.

The story so far is turning out to be interesting.

The sexual tension is high and yet the world in the comic is doing their best to try to keep order when sexual tension was so high. Almost can't wait to see what this is going to turn out to be.
