Actinide (-89) is an ascended arthropod capable of extending his newfound consciousness to insects and "uplifting" them into sentience, while also amplifying his own psionic power; said Swarm is the principle tool and source of power for the Imperial Hornet. If you made a wasp anthropomorphic, it wouldn't function properly normally without something to compensate for the lack of proper eyesight, hearing or speech (It's a representation of that old joke of taking the smallest mind in existence, and showing it the entire universe at one time to see what would happen), so hence, it developed latent psychic output which manifested in psycho- and telekinesis, best output in hivemind mentality.

The other three hornets in this picture are chosen familiars, dubbed Marie, Curie, and Henri, predominantly used to express emotions a wasp-face cannot do.
