Odds are it will be. Only repeated inbreeding carries a significant risk of damage.

My money is on him managing to somehow screw up and he busts a nut anywhere but inside her vagina and she gets pissed off and beats the shit out of him, then starts scooping the semen into her vagina while mumbling obscenities and he's too out of it to really care.

Supposedly animals are capable of producing a couple generations of inbreeds without defects.
The reason humans cant is because our genetic diversity is so low. Or something like that.

Humans can't because we're intelligent enough to prevent people doing it.

Technically you can inbreed for a few generations before things start going wrong, but people would much rather just not do that. Actually inbreeding for the first generation only increases birth defect rates by a tiny amount, though through many generations it can lead to some heinous shit.

Humans are no different from other mammals.
After enough generations of linebreeding, the defect ratio would go down again. Because the ones with worst defects die early, which removes those from the genebase.

But eugenics is generally frowned upon, so that seems unlikely to ever be tested. Especially since it'd require so many generations.

It's been tested with many species though. White tigers for example. The majority are still born, and more are born with severe defects, but if you get the breeding right long enough then you end up with a breeding pair that produce consistent decent cubs.
