Tight Fit

Just another practice picture, me experimenting with real watercolour paper again. I'm actually liking some of the effects seen in this picture, though it's a real challenge for me, not being able to use coloured pencils at all. I have a small set of acrylic paints that I use for details, but I find them so hard to use xD I greatly prefer watercolours, but they don't have the boldness of colour I sometimes need. So, if I do head in this direction artistically, it'll take some serious getting used to, and re-learning things.

But who knows, I'm just expeirmenting a bit. It's fun to do more traditional methods of watercolour painting.

Also, my excuse for the massive size of that toy- you see, I had thought up the pose really before anything else. So I ran with it, but when it got to it, the toy had to be pretty damn big to avoid being floaty. But at that point I was too lazy to fix it somehow- this was just drawn for practice after all, so drawn very quickly- so I just left it.

Second reason- foxes are stretchy, right? xD

So yeah... little fox, big toy. But that's how we like it anyway, right? xD Juuust a test pic for the colouring, so don't harsh on the anatomy or other drawing aspects too much. Thanks :P

    YOU'RE IN PUBLIC!

I'm not used to seeing 'you're' being used correctly. It almost looked wrong to me...

If you're in public but nobody's around, are you really in public? ;-)
