Well its a wwII uniform, and the ak wasnt invented until either the 60s or 70s.

The caliber is 7.62x39 mm

Would be cool for it to be 47cal, u know how during ww2 the Americans put 50cal coaxial mounts on their tanks? The Russians would put that there if it was 47cal.

No worries; Modern Warfare 2 gave Russian paratroopers full-stock AK-47s, so it's not like people sweat the details anyway. Not outside e621, at least. ;P
