  • I am 19 and I don't have a license. It doesn't matter though, as the only cars I have access to are imaginary.

*bursts into laughter* That's the weakest response I've ever read! Yeah, find me a car where the gas tank isn't in the rear.

Try behind the seat. Dumbass. El Caminos have a reputation of being a death trap for a reason

  • I love this car. My dad had an '86. It had a really nice two tone paint job. Dark blue on light blue. One of the cars I really wished he kept.

You never owned an El Camino or you would know that the gas tank was behind the rear axle between the frame rails like every other car from that era. The El Camino was based on an automotive chassis, it was a Malibu with a pickup bed. Pickup trucks from the 1960s and earlier had the gas tank inside the cab behind the seat.

Good work there, this guy must be thinking of the Ford Pinto and spun his mouth too early. As the owner of a 1976 Elky I approve of this comment.

Yeah, and it had nothing to do with the car. it had to do with the fact that at first, only crazed rednecks would buy them, and drive 'em into trees at 100mph. Camaros and Firebirds had the same problem.

  • Yes, because people buy classic cars for they're safety features O.o. Anyway, a big old thing like this is plenty safe for one reason, body-on-frame construction. This thing is a tank compared to the unibody peices of junk we're makin' nowadays.

  • This is a great picture, I love your fursuit and your position. It's a beautiful day and a great truck. Those Center line rims look great against the brown paint and beige interior. That's a great looking mid to late 80's Chevy El Camino.
