Description
Roly-Poly Pokemon
Type: Electric/Steel
Ability: Iron Barbs / Lightning Rod
Togedemaru is the Roly-Poly Pokémon that gathers electricity and stores it. The long needle that grows from the back of its head works as a lightning rod to attract electricity. With this reservoir of electrical energy, Togedemaru is able to release powerful Electric-type attacks!
Covering its body is a pattern of fur with strands like needles. That means that Togedamaru can roll itself up, and presto—it's a ball of prickles!
Some skilled Trainers have developed the strategy of getting other Pokémon to unleash Electric-type attacks on Togedemaru, which absorbs their power to use in a response attack!
On days when lightning strikes, you can sometimes see Togedemaru gather and bristle up their needles, waiting to be struck by lightning.

MemberPikachu clone #5 if you don't count pichu as the clone family.

MemberDiscounting the Pikachu line, we have: Plusle (III), Minun (III), Pachirisu (IV), Emonga (V), Dedenne (VI), and now Togedemaru (VII). Togedemaru's Pikaclone #5 if you merge Plusle and Minun together and #6 if you do not.
If you consider the Marill line (II) Pikaclones for some stupid reason, then Togedemaru's Pikaclone #7 (if lumping the line as a whole together) or #9 (If you regard Marill, Azumarill, and Azurill separately).

MemberTo which I will point out I added "for some stupid reason" to the quoted comment for a not-so-stupid reason.
Reading comprehension. Learn it.

MemberWhat ticks me off is that Dedenne and Togedemaru have no way of using their secondary typing offensively.
Dedenne learns rough play, but it has crap physical attack and it cannot learn ANY of the special attack fairy moves.
Togedemaru can learn flash cannon, but it has crap for special attack and has good attack. So what physical steel move can it learn? Gyro ball. it has two good stats, attack and Speed. it's useless with it.
I just wanna know... Why?
Oh, wait, it's so that they can be counted as inferior to pikachu, who needs a hundred thousand buffs to be remotely effective in battle, along with special snowflake moves.
