Utensil commonly composed of plastic, metal and/or wood, constituted of a rod with two to four parallel tips (prongs) in one of its extremities. It is a flatware used for piercing food and take it to the mouth, as well as holding it to make easier to cut.

Some melee weapons and other tools have the same basic format and similar usage (pierce, lift and hold).
