Alolan Sandslash is a Ice/Steel type variant on "normal" Sandslash, a Ground-type Pokémon.

Sandslash's body changed to adapt to the harsh environment of the snowy mountains. They have spiny backs that are covered in ice. Thanks to their icy coating, these spines are large and sharp.

Alolan Sandslash is a bipedal pangolin Pokémon. Its back is covered with large sharp quills of ice. Its body is light blue, though its underbelly and muzzle are white. Alolan Sandslash has almond-shaped eyes, a pointed snout, and triangular ears. Its tail is thick and conical. It has two large claws on its forepaws and feet.
