Used to describe when any character that clearly intends to keep their underclothes and/or genitals unseen, ends up exposed anyway without anyone's deliberate intention. The tag applies whether or not they are aware that they're exposed.

Examples

• If clothing fails to function properly and just falls off, such as a button failing and pants dropping. For situations like this, see wardrobe_malfunction.

• A character is undressed by an inanimate object. (For example, clothing caught on a branch or ripped off by a trap.)

• For some reason, the character's clothing fails to effectively cover their private parts.

Not to be confused with

casual_exposure - When a clothed or partially clothed character merely has their breasts/genitals exposed in a non-sexual manner/situation for apparently no reason. This tag always implies a total lack of concern for modesty.
