Hanna Ulrike Rudel, ハンナ・ウルリーケ・ルーデル

A fictional character from the mixed media series Strike Witches. Hanna is a member of the Karlsland Air Force, 3rd Squadron and a gifted ground attack witch. Her familiar form is that of a grey wolf.

Hanna's character is modeled after the World War II German flying ace Hans-Ulrich Rudel Like her namesake Hanna flies a Striker Unit modeled after the Junkers Ju 87 and later the Focke-Wulf Fw 190. Her preferred weapon in combat is the BK 3.7, a 3.7cm chambered autocannon.

In her private life Hanna is quite and reserved, not prone to make friends easily, but a fiercely loyal wingman in combat. She learned early on that bombs were ineffective and inaccurate for her style of flying and quickly opted for the 37mm autocannon upon seeing it's devastating power against even the hardest of armored targets when used in a top-down attack method.
