Tama is an anthropomorphic fox-fairy from Square Enix's World of Final Fantasy who doubles as both world guide and combat compatriot to the twin heroes Reynn and Lann. She possesses unique abilities among the various Mirages of Grymoire, such as the capacity to briefly rewind time after a defeat in battle, thereby preventing the party's permanent death.

Notably, and likely irritatingly, in the English localization of the game, she speaks with a verbal tic of inserting 'the' into a myriad of the-places where it shouldn't the-otherwise appear, yielding the-much consternation and grief in what would the-ostensibly be everyday conversation.
