Space Ace is a laserdisc video game produced by Don Bluth Studios, an animation group associated with numerous films such as All Dogs Go to Heaven and The Land Before Time, along with Cinematronics and Advanced Microcomputer Systems. In it, a heroic human protagonist faces off against various alien entities to rescue a beautiful captive. The outer space themed game was unveiled in October 1983. It's notable for being a sort of 'interactive movie', featuring a lot of death scenes if players are not quick enough, and it has picked up significant praise over the years.
