A situation where a character makes it clear that they have a desire for intimacy with another character, or the viewer, either through gesturing, body language, or other actions. This may involve a friendly beckoning for a variety of intimate activities, be it having sex, or asking for a hug or cuddle.

In an inviting situation, a character attempts to appear enticing, but not to the point that they are already engaging in intimate activity. The recipient is thus provided the opportunity to choose whether or not to take advantage of the situation.

Often less blatant than presenting, but can be combined with it.

Common themes

- Provocative poses that provide easy access to a character's genitals. Presenting is a common support theme.
- Provocative expressions, and other acts of seduction.
- Expressing an interest to have intimate activity with someone, especially offers for sex.
