Character: psyche
Psyche was a Greek and Roman goddess, representing the human soul in an anthropomorphic form. Originally a mortal, she was often portrayed as a young woman with butterfly wings on her back. Her husband was Eros/Cupid, god of love, and their daughter was Hedone/Voluptas (goddess of pleasure).
Psyche's only myth was the one related in Roman writer Lucius Apuleius' novel Metamorphoses or The Golden Ass.
