Copyright: the yorkshire meaning of liff
The Yorkshire Meaning of Liff is a spinoff of Douglas Adams' and John Lloyd's book The Meaning of Liff in which various place names were given various definitions for common experiences and things that had yet to be attached to a word. Written by Joe Moorwood, it differed from The Meaning of Liff in that it used place names exclusively from the County of York in England rather than from across the world.
