A front entry sexual position where the penetrated partner is seated on top of the penetrating partner, who is in turn seated or lightly reclining, such as on the edge of a bed, in a chair, or atop a stool. The penetrated partner usually has their legs wrapped around the person beneath. Unlike the cowgirl position, the penetrating partner is not lying down.
Often sitting_on_lap, but not always:
The basket position tag is for mastery positions that take place entirely on a level surface. If the bottom is sitting in a lotus pose, it becomes lotus position.
Not to be confused with
- basket_position - No partner is sitting on another's lap.
- chair_position - Both partners are facing the same direction
- cowgirl_position - The penetrating partner is lying down
- saint_position - The character on bottom is kneeling instead of sitting.
