A pilot suit is a functional full-body attire that is designed to aid the wearer withstand extreme g-forces and high altitudes.

These type of suits are especially prevalent with jet aircraft pilots due to the high speeds that their aerial vehicles are capable of reaching that an unprepared individual can't withstand alone without falling unconscious.

In science fiction pilots of mechas and star fighters also make use of pilot suits for the sames reasons and often times also incorporate functionalities of a spacesuit.
