Aslan is a central character in the Chronicles of Narnia series by C. S. Lewis.
In his official form, he is a talking feral lion and is described as the "King of Beasts", the "son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea" and the "King above all High Kings" in Narnia.
His name literally means "lion" in Turkish.
