Heh! Yeah, about that…

LONG time ago when I joined, I was young, naive, and… very stupid.

I had 8 negative records, 7 neutrals and banned temporarily a few times. Mostly due to roleplay and being inconsiderate. I was surprised I wasn’t permanently banned.

Thankfully, all were removed due to good behavior and how old the records were.

Trust me. Ask any admin…

I remember those days! lol You should definitely get some kind of recognition for being our most "reformed" member. XD

The number of records is honestly pretty impressive. I wonder how many neutrals/negatives/temp or permabans a user can have active on one profile at any one time or in total

It’s funny. I wanted to become a privileged member several years ago. Turns out that I had to put so much effort on tag edits, forums, etc. all that jazz…

I could only do so much. But then thought about it and figured it’s not worth it. (For me, that is)

14000 comments without any record is quite impressive.

One more thing to ask you before I offer my recommendations for dancing music Kemonophonic. You were specific but I just want a bit more clarification. Do you mean like slow jams, something you'd hear in a party/celebration or something in between?

Well, I like repetitive music, I'm addicted to bass and I like music that I can dance the night away to.

I'll look for some dancing songs on my playlist for you another time, but for now I'll give you a recommendation I thought about a while after when I said that I had no idea for more. Check out Erykah Badu. Shes's an older artist with some good songs like "Next Lifetime," "Window Seat," "Love of My Life" and "Didn't Cha Know." Even if the singing isn't in your interest, I think you might like the instrumentals for those songs and another song called "Otherside of The Game."

t4c? ain't that president valentine's stand?

yeah his stand, Thirty Thneeds Taken Through Canada. imo it's way too OP, idk what Araki was smoking when he came up with it.

it's certainly not a class they make you take when you get a little too silly :3

Ants be like: Yo! Look at this absurd quantity of sugar liquid that's more than the amount our colony will ever going to need in our lifetime. Let's fucking drown in it and kill ourselves. Contaminating the liquid in the process.

I swear to god. This place with ants, man.

About a quarter done with my “Duracell battery” song idea I thought about recently.

Apologies if it’s taking too long. I couldn’t find the right octave and tempo synchronizations to balance everything out. Lots of trial and error… I’m a very very VERY picky individual. 😓

Nice one man! Can't wait to hear it! ^_^

I always assumed humanoids were just handily outnumbered. I already usually specify anthro or otherwise. If I think there's too many of something in the results I add an exclusion to the query and move on.

For now, people can use ~fox ~fox_humanoid if they want to include humanoid.

I think it's because both bear and bat have as broad meanings as canine.

Implications

Staff says specific humanoids like fox_humanoid shouldn't imply fox coz most people don't want humanoid when they search for species.

So I just noticed that some but not all animal_humanoid tags implicate their regular common species equivalent. Like, "bat_humanoid" implicates "bat" and "bear- oh fine, ursid_humanoid" - implicates "bear", but "wolf_humanoid" and "fox humanoid" both only implicate "canine" instead of "wolf" or "fox".

I thought for ages that the latter was true and I'm going mad trying to wrap my head around it. Was this always the case? Why is it not consistent?? Is it a taxonomical practicality thing? Like, "there are too many Species so we're only doing these implications for Families/Subfamilies, except nah some of them will only go back as far as the Order"???
Somebody please help, I've spent the last two hours trawling forums and implications and fact checking and I don't know enough about phylogeny to understand this 🫠

I think I'm going to start putting my CSS tweaks/fixes in my about section. most of it is for the mobile version of the site, but there are a few general improvements as well.

not sure how many other people use the the site on mobile, but the UX is not great. not "putting buttons/ads in locations that you're likely to hit with the heel of your thumb" bad or anything, but still.

Thanks for the tag edit button one, much appreciated.

Yeah I saw those, and most are pretty helpful
Edit: Oh neat, new additions

@Grab-n-Stash: Very similar to your previous recommendation. I can tell you're into plunderphonics.

Thanks again for the music recommendation. If you have any more, feel free to share them with me!

So that's what that type of music is called. Honestly, with what I've got on my playlist, I'm not sure if what else I could recommend that would be in your interest.
I'm usually listening to old songs from way back when I was a kid with a few classics from the 80s to 90s, love songs, love lust songs that occasionaly use the word "love" like it means getting in someone's pants or just a verb you can throw around, video game music and some tracks I came across on Youtube. Give me a general idea of what genres you like and I might be able to find something for you.

Hey Kemonophonic, I've got one last recommendation for you and I'll leave you alone about new people/groups you can look into. Most of what I'm listening is from the 80s to the 2010s and almost none of it has drum & bass. Unless you count the Street Fighter 3 Second Impact bgm that plays on Yang's stage. Anyways, have you heard of a guy by the name of Brock Berrigan? You should give the songs "So in Love," "Michelin Star" and "September 22nd" he made a listen. Suprised my last recommendation caught your interest, but I went for it anyway since you got some new music I wouldn't have found on my own so I thought I should return the favor.

first time adding posts to a pool... didn't realize i had to refresh the page for it to take effect. hit the button a bunch of times and now i've got 9 false pool edits logged on my account 🙃 (i'm sure it probably doesn't matter, but i like to keep my logs neat, clean, and accurate, so stuff like this is just a bit annoying to me lol)
