Any input as to why you're actively throttling connections to 30 KB/sec on the server lately?

I've tested this and a single connection will only load at 30 KB/sec and making multiple connections at the same time with a download manager, for a large 5mb picture, results in up to 400 KB/sec.

Awesome site and i've contributed several pictures to it in the past, but What gives? Why throttle us?
