Reason:

The definition of akimbo is having both hands on hips with elbows turned outward.

This is an implication instead of an alias because there is at least one other way of putting hands on hips without being akimbo (e.g. by crossing arms in front of and across the body).

EDIT: The tag implication akimbo -> hands_on_hips (forum #269819) has been rejected by @bitWolfy.
