It is football. But not traditional football, but instead what Americans call football. Which I only know of cause I visit SC from time to time.

i wonder how much money that could be spent on FAR more important things gets wasted on events like the super bowl. seeing this thread reminded me of this video about how much money is thrown at the sports stadiums alone which could be put to vastly better use.

Don't get me wrong, I think fighting ISIS only with Planes doesn't lead to a solution, but nobody intends to send ground troops.

That's the point where the USA fails, invading Iraq for questionable reasons, fighting Taliban in Afghanistan but do nearly nothing against an enemy with "good" military equipment.

Without the USA no country will send troops there.

I'd ask how a conversation about sportsball managed to get onto the subject of war and politics, but honestly I don't know enough about shootscoring to even question whether or not it's a natural progression.
