Is that some kind of weird bug ???

(Searching for the members of the set appears to produce no more than 640 posts.. soo it's not even 'the correct number but negated'. Que?)

This is almost certainly a large delete request that was duplicated or didn't take, but still adjusted the counter. Yay, race conditions and transactional subtleties.
