Topic: Question About Titles

Posted under General

I'm not sure if this belong in "Wiki Projects" type stuff or not, so please forgive me.

My question is, is there any specific procedure, if one wanted to add a title (you know, when you press the little "?" next to a tag and it takes you to definitions of said tag) that one should follow? Should it contain a wiki definition for a title with no descriptions yet to be valid? Or dictionary terms? How should it be formatted (especially with related/aliased/implicated tags)? Should I leave that to moderators only, or can a peasant like myself add titles?

Sorry for the long question. Thanks!

If you change the title of the page, you'll make a different page. The title is part of the URL, after all, and the ? links to the URL with the same title.

What you can do is remove underscores and change capitalization. There's nothing wrong with that.

I thought the title said "Question About Titties"

The title of the page is always set to the tag name, and aliases/implications are automatically shown on the page. All you can or need to edit is the text of the page itself, which should simply be a description of what the tag is and when it should/shouldn't be used.
