Topic: Is it possible?

Is there a possibility to download comics here on E621? Because there are so many comics I'd like to keep, but haven't found any way to download them.
I'm just wondering, please don't think that I'm greedy ;P

There's a download button below each image. Right click, "Save Link Location..." And you're good to go! If you mean bulk downloads, there are none.

Avert your virgin eyes if you don't like to see someone take a toy the size of a fire extinguisher up the arse.

Never once understood why someone would want their anus to look like a grotesque doughnut or wear adult diapers in their late twenties. I couldn't even last three seconds watching that

On topic, press the download button or right click.

Look for add-ons for your browser where you can mass download stuff. I use Firefox and so I have two add-ons I use, Snap Links Plus and Image Picker. The first one allows me to right-click and drag over a large area on an imageboard such as e621 and open multiple links in new tabs. The second one allows me to mass download from all those open tabs at one time.

Be warned if you decide to go this route, though: I've had problems with 503 errors using Snap Links Plus on e6, and I've ended up having to go to each and every new tab and F5 to refresh it so it would load properly. That can be a headache and a half to deal with if you've just Snap Linked 72 different links and gotten 503 errors on 50 of them or so. In that case if you can find out where the originals are posted and you can access that site easily enough, it might be a better idea to try to download them from there.

Also, opening that many new tabs at once can slow your browser way down, so be sure that when you're doing this kind of an operation that you dedicate your session to *only* downloading this stuff, or else it could make your system's problems even worse.

Finally, it can take a bit of time for Image Picker to download all the images, and also you'll need to set the filters on it so that it defaults to images that are 250 pixels or so in height or width and higher, because if you don't then it will grab literally every image on every tab (avatars, buttons, etc.) and that's probably something you won't be wanting to have to deal with.

If you're not using Firefox, then see if you can find something similar to those add-ons for whatever other browser you're using.

I hope this helps.

I use a Firefox add-on called Image Toolbar. Pared down the default set of functions so it just puts a save button on the corner of an image when you mouse over it. Convenient, but just for single files.

DownThemAll + ThumbsDown for Firefox. The latter allows you to select a bunch of thumbnails and throws urls of the full size images into DownThemAll[1]. The former is a download manager that actually does the downloading.

If you are certain what you want to download, then you can use this strategy and entirely avoid any issue with tab lag.

[1] You do have to configure ThumbsDown for e621 first. I can provide a screenshot of settings if needed.
