I'm trying to find a specific artist whose name I cannot recall and believe may have been removed from the site, so I decided to look at the DNP list to see if I recognise any names, but I can't even find the list. Halp.

You can search for xxxartist status:deleted to find art by xxxartist (for example) that has been deleted. If you remember the art but not the artist, try searching for something like feral lion male/male status:deleted. You can follow the source link or read the tags to see if it's the right post, and then look at the artist.

You may search through the takedown list for the names of artists that had recently taken down their artworks from e6, if that helps. If the artworks had disappeared a long time ago then it might be a problem.

Can you at least describe a random post that you remember from the artist? Maybe some of us has seen it before, you never know.

The image I have in mind was of a female feral canine of some description on all fours, face down ass up and panting from heat. The vagina was presented toward (but not directly) the viewer and was spread and visibly wet. The canine's fur was a shade of brown, possibly multiple. She was looking backwards over her shoulder toward the viewer. Believe me, I have searched all of these tags.

Are you sure you are searching up the right tags? Sometimes we can get the littlest details wrong, for me I got stuck finding a post for ages before I find out that I got the species wrong. But I doubt that you would make this mistake.

Try a combination of feral canine female and maybe solo, brown_fur, wet, looking_at_viewer or canine_pussy? If only it weren't for this pesky tag search limitations.

It helps to remove tags like -pokemon or -<any other franchise> just to narrow down the search if it were a generic or original character.

If you already did that and can't find it, then I wish good luck to you.

Nah, no dice. Believe you me, I am searching the correct tags. I've been trying to find this series for a long time.

Do any of you know any similarly comprehensive sites that might contain what I'm looking for?

InkBunny and Pixiv have a tag suggestion system to help ensure that tags get added, so you might find it there, but I don't think either has as detailed a tagging system as us.

To be fair that last one I found I'm pretty sure should be semi-anthro, not feral. There was a version which only had the one pair of boobs, and the fact that the fore-legs jut out like arms.

As detailed and comprehensive as the e621 tagging system is, there's always something missed. You don't wanna know my searching woes when I miss out on improperly-tagged femdom.
