Topic: Help with artist tag!

Posted under General

Well, I did make you a tag, use dannybomb from now on, but the image was deleted for poor quality. Next time, use a scanner for uploading traditional artwork and you may want to work a bit more on your lines.

I just uploaded an image I drew, can any admin please tag me as the artist? Thanks!

Nevermind, someone deleted it due to it not being good quality, I'll try again later...

Thanks, I'll try with a better camera later. Since is my first try I don't see the point in working more on it since we learn from our mistakes and we get better with each try.

Uh, making mistakes is what’ll get it deleted. This site has a minimum quality standard, you should improve before uploading.

Dude. tha'ts rather fucking harsh. :(

Yes the site has minimum quality standards, but not one single artist in the world bursts forth fully formed and perfect. :( We all make mistakes. and there is not one thing wrong with that.

This is a fantastic viewpoint to take! You CAN gain benefit from continuing to work on a drawing, though... but sometimes, it's just easier to start over-- drawing should be fun too, after all :)

Don't be disheartened by having something deleted, we ALL Start somewhere and that's at the bottom--you'll get better, just stick with it! :)

(and don't let other people get you down either--people can be mean! but that doesn't mean you should listen to them. A good artist is one who keeps trying even when others say things that are mean. :) )
