I'm currently uploading the Silver Soul comic to here as it is uploaded publicly on FA. The thing is though, pages are released to patrons a few weeks earlier than the public release. And with the new year coming up, I'm not sure how I should tag the year in uploads. Should I go by the public upload date? Or should I go by the date pages were put up on Patreon?

Year tags are for when the artwork was created, usually indicated in the image itself somehow.

What Mario69 says, the year tags are for the year when the art was created, not when it was published.

If the year of creation is unknown the year when it was published might be used, but that's going to happen rather seldom.
