So I recently joined here, and I'd taken finished pieces I've drawn and posted them, and half of them I was sure they fit the quality criteria and shouldn't have been on the DNP. One moderator took down almost all of the pieces. The only ones that stayed up were checked out by other mods. I contacted the moderator who didn't like my stuff (and I put it like that for a reason) and he basically just said my art isn't good enough. No real explanation, but I know for a fact I'd been following the rules so that's what he meant. I don't think it's right to subjectively judge other people's art and that it has to fit their tastes. There are quality rules that make sense. I didn't see a single one saying it needs to appeal to the mods tastes. I had fully colored and cleanly lineworked art posted, even following basic color theory rules, proper anatomy, original ideas, in a specialized style I'd been working on. But it isn't good enough to one particular mod. Is that kind of thing just okay when in the 3 hours they were up, they garnered some 10-12 likes and a couple approving comments? Other people liked it. I just have to make all the important people like it to be good enough???
