Topic: Should 'Topless' imply 'Clothed'?

Posted under General

'Topless' implies the character isn't wearing upper clothing, however there are situations where the character's lower-half isn't visible (thus making it impossibly to tell whether they're actually clothed). In it's current state 'Topless' implicates 'Clothed', which further implicates 'Clothing', which creates a problem because we're no longer tagging what we see.

The only solution I can come up with right now is using the 'Nude' tag instead, but that's not entirely accurate either.

Suggestions/Comments?

On e6 topless specifically means no upper clothing and yes lower clothing. So yes it implies clothed. If you can't see a character's lower half then don't tag them as topless.

Nude isn't a perfect solution but it's the best we have. Like Nimmy said here we do make some assumptions. For example post #561294 is assumed female (not dickgirl) even though it could have a penis off screen, and post #561294 is assumed nude (not topless) even though it could have pants off screen.

That makes total sense, thanks for the examples and clarification!
