Wait, seriously? chrome's developers removed the option to change the volume of a video? Are they trying to get people to switch to Firefox?

are not a option to modify the volume without mute/unmute him?

Mute/unmute the sound of what? Who's this "Him" you are referring to?

Where's Chrome involved?

Nowhere, but if you open a webm in Chrome 67 it no longer has a volume control, so it's an educated guess that this is what they are asking about.

This is the most absurd and utter nonsense update I have ever seen and this made me extremely frustrated. I want to have fine control over media at specific sites, I may want to blast music at full volume, listen to speech at slightly lower volume and orgasm sounds maybe at lowest so that neighbors don't hear without needing to constantly adjust master volume.

Thanks to @JAKXXX3 giving me peace of mind, you can revert to old player by disabling chrome://flags/#enable-modern-media-controls. Alternatively change browser to something other than chrome, even Edge with extension has extremely much more robust player right now.

But you should still report feedback to Chrome so that they know that people are upset. Lack of report volume will result in this getting a low priority, but if they get tens of thousands of unique reports about it, they will be hard pressed to mark it a low priority. Help->Report an issue..

Be respectful and helpful about the issue, it's industry tactic to throw out reports that are too emotional. "There is no volume control present in the new media player control. I expect to be able to control the volume of the content being played on a player by player basis." would be a good starting template.

You shoot yourself in the foot by finding workarounds and giving no feedback.

Google changing/fixing their UI because people dislike it? Good one.

Same. But doesn't hurt to try, they usually still fix stuff after couple iterations over 10 years.

Did a report just now and attached Edges player as better example on how to do things.
