Yes, or if possible get it from another source which may not have the same limitations, either way Tumblr's 1280 version seems to be the highest at the moment.

If that's the highest quality version available then yeah

Make sure you check for other sources. Possibly ask the artist if they have other sources as well, if it's actually hitting the 1280 width.
