You're joking
What about the many mass uploaders like myself who are, at times, capable of uploading a few pics a minute?

You don't get to do that anymore and are instead now able to spend a minute per post for tagging instead of 10 seconds.

Wut? Explain.
Is that something new or something, because I don't see any announcement about it.

Besides tagging, you can also spend the time by checking for duplicates. Since posting those creates unnecessary work for everyone.SauceNAO and harry.lu exist, and should be used by anyone who mass-uploads.
Also just generally sourcing stuff. I remember bunch of times where I have found source to untameds upload by simple saucenao search but their upload had no sources at all, this level of sourcing isn't that absurdly hard nor does it take long, but because it takes more than 5 seconds it's too much.
And even better version at source posts I have been looking, in many cases the earlier post is already lacking in tags, but there's bunch of people scripting these cases so additional sources are lost and tags are simply copy-pasted with BVAS tag removed in between. Have to give shoutout to AoBird for actually including additional source, copying notes, copying descriptions AND notifying it's superior version with post ID, extremely low amount of people do this and these are all extremely valuable things!

Yes, this was implemented yesterday, you can see this on top of uploading page as well as notification after upload.
There have been tons of issues ranging from users complaining about hundreds of reposts done in few minutes as well as some users complaining that they cannot fix tags on their new uploads because they have ran out of hourly tag edits.

That's literally both me.
I see, https://e621.net/user/upload_limit
Will there be an API for it too, I imagine it would be simpler for all those tools around to be fixed with simple json response.
Does that limit reset at like 00:00>01:00 server time or 1 hour after whichever action?
