Hey everyone, what are you guys' opinions on Jasonfex and Kabier leaving the furry fandom forever?

So they're leaving the spotlight to lurk. Yeah, that's fine, and good for them. No need to put yourself front and center if it's causing you stress.

And it's a good thing, as if they had stayed in the fandom longer, their relationship would deteriorate.

They'll be back. They always come back.

I hope it works out for them. Not real sure their egos can handle not having the attention they've had for years. Yet, I suppose their metaphorical star has been dimming over the past few years so maybe just taking the plunge and moving on is their best course of action at the moment.

Now, on a personal level? I won't miss them, I generally completely forget they exist until someone randomly brings them up for whatever reason because they both stopped making content I cared about and stopped being people I liked following quite a few years ago.

To me they're just other random people, what they do in their lives means just as little to me as anything that I'd do in my life would mean to anyone on this site. So, my stance is the same as with nearly everyone, that as long as they aren't actively hurting others they can live their life however and seek their own happiness. As long as that's the case I do wish them good luck with their future, as another random person that's all I could really hope for from any other random person if I were making a similar decision and excising what would be a long-term part of my life.

Pretty much this. Their main income is furry commissions or their own furry-related stuff. If they cut that off, then they're most likely gonna have to get real jobs. Bills don't pay themselves.

Quite honestly, I didn't care much for them. The drama back then was kek and as soon as they took down their stuff from here, I slowly forgot about them. It was also pretty kek when they did a survey to see where their fans came from and e6 was the most voted.

So overall, I don't really care much about what they do. It's like asking me how do I feel about the Kardashians

I couldn't blame them a bit. Furry is fun, but it's fantasy; your real life relationships are much more important. The furry community is toxic. You don't have to look any farther than some of the comments in this thread to see that.

So, they are leaving because of the thing they've been contributing to and known for? Funny that.

To be frank, whether they stay or go, I wouldn't notice. Their art was never particularly relevant to my interests. The one interest I had was watching drama unfold on their comics and such, but they went DNP a while back and I haven't thought of them since.
