I added a work into one of my sets and filtered those out of my search but they don't get filtered. They don't get shown if I search through my set, too, but when I go to the work it sais its in the set. Might this be a bug?

To answer the thread title: yes, it's 10000 posts, but that doesn't explain the issue you're seeing though. Sounds like a bug.
Sets are capped at 10,000 posts. Probably not a problem for most users (though it did kill a couple of my tagging projects).
