Topic: Nsfw ads

There is a safe mode in settings too, which is likely what OP meant. It seems to do the same thing as e926.

I'm just wondering how and why pornhub still has ads of sfm shemale porn on it when I have only looked at regular vanilla straight porn on there the whole time, told them during account making that I'm into women, highlited the things/fetishes that I'm into (none including shemale), and it still gives me shemale ads. Not to mention, those ads are kinda old.

It's based on your search history.
Maybe stop looking at shemale porn?

I never searched for it either. Honest.

Update: Now that I think about it, I haven't gotten one of those kinds of ads in the past few days. So it was likely a bug or something. That, or its because my account is very new and it took time for the site to adjust its algorithm to my actual searches.

Oh yeah, there is a Safe Mode in the settings.

It sounds like @OneAnt has a legitimate complaint. The quick fix would be to use an adblocker until it gets resolved. Or use the e926 domain IF that correctly filters the ads.

Ads are currently based on the domain used. Please use e926.net for sfw ads for the time being.

And what about a straight porn ad when you're not straight or a gay ad when you're not gay? Right above the post is just a massive anime tits with clamps on them and I just can't get into the post because I'm not into that. If ads could follow your additions to the blacklist, that would make things so much better.

I don't think advertisers would be a fan of users blacklisting their ad...

Actually Im not so sure. It would have to not impact impressions however. So for example this would be nice to ensure advertising remains targeted to users who would be more likely to clickthrough.

Maybe look at the post date. That was a year old post.

I'd agree with this. I assume you pay to get a limited number of advertisements, and if half of those are going to users who you don't like your sort of content, ie you draw 90% male/male art and are getting sent to male/female and/or female/female only fans, those views got wasted.
