I was trying to start a conversation with Milcore, about a report i made on a comment that was 5 months ago. Was my report invalid?

Mods might not discuss certain things like that with users for privacy reasons, kind of like how a lot of places will deal with the report but not go back and tell the reporter that actions were or weren't taken.

And while Milcore seems tame enough, Knotty Curls probably bites so trying to massage that one wouldn't be advisable.

Abuse of Site Tools
Suggested Suspension Length: 7 days
This category includes:

• Using any of the site tools, such as Flag for Deletion, ticket reporting system, takedowns, notes, or any other site tool in a fashion that can be construed as disruptive, spamming, or defamatory
• Putting gibberish in any of the description fields
• Repeatedly submitting invalid, incorrect, or unnecessary requests
• Repeatedly submitting username change requests
• Using any of the site tools to “backseat moderate”
• Reporting forum posts, threads, comments, blips, or any other site media that is older than 6 months
• Voting with multiple accounts on the same posts or comments

It should be noted that if a user reports a post, thread, comment, or any other site media that is older than 6 months, but contains a publicly visible malicious link, that they will be exempt from this rule

5 months is pushing it, comments that old probably shouldn't be reported.

In my experience you get told off for reporting anything older than a couple of weeks.

Apparently my memory was exaggerating a little, but the point Millcore becomes upset with you seems like more of a rounding-up-to than it is literally one month.

Idk if millcore likes massages, maybe ask them?

Massages can get you a little too close to them, which not everybody's into.
Messages should be fine as long as you're courteous. Don't go insulting them just to vent at them over something. If you're unclear on something, ask.

If it's to insult them, it could fall under harassment. Maybe if it was abstracted enough away from specific people it might get a pass, but you'd be playing with fire.

Site itself should be fine, take a look at blitzdrachin e621. Some art of Kiranoot and Bearphones is a bit silly, but nothing harassment grade.
