Does anyone find the constant commenting about NNN extremely annoying? I can't stand it, in my mind it's as bad as posting "first"

I generally roll my eyes at No Nut November. People act like doing it makes them interesting or cool. It doesn't. It means you take questionable ideas on the Internet far too seriously.

Perhaps that's true a lot of the time, but there's more to it than that. Sure, there's a whole lot of people do it just because a meme told them to, and there are also people who do it because they're (unsuccessful) NoFappers who want an excuse to preach about how "masturbation is evil", or whatever... But there also people do it to PROVE to themselves that they have the self-control to do it, which can be a rewarding experience in and of itself. Furthermore, on the more kinky side of things, some people doing it because they have an edging/orgasm denial kink, and they are trying to push it to the limit. Needless to say, this is a hard thing to do, so under normal conditions, they might not be able/willing to push it that far. However, by creating an artificial sense of "you only get one shot at this until next year" and more importantly creating at least a bit of a community of like-minded individual who can share their experiences and provide support, it might make it possible to push the kink further than they could otherwise.

EDIT: Oh, right, there's also the people who do it because they're curious what orgasming for the first time after a month is like, which I think falls into the "kinda dumb" category, since a month probably isn't any different than 10 days..

Eh, people can do what they want. As long as they aren't being judgemental towards me about it then whatever.

NNN was funny the first year. Now it's just a dead meme that people beat instead of their dicks.

I'd be surprised to find that more than one in two dozen people talking about it actually take it seriously

i've started for this month mostly because porn has really lost it's edge for me after browsing here an hour a day on the daily for years now, so rather than chasing the next big thing to bring that same high i'll try and abstain in an effort to bring back the bite of the normal stuff

probably pretty tacky of me to take a break from porn starting the first of this month rather than literally any other day of any other month, but i suppose this dumb trend still sits in the back of my head in spite of it's pseudoscience origins

What zero No Nut November does to a mf.

I'll remind everyone that mentions of participating in New Name November will result in disciplinary action.

I prefer what risu from hololive does...

on a more serious note, i completely forgot it was a thing this november, haven't seen it mentioned til now... the art porn people make about it are cool though

I don't really see why people get so mad about it, I just think the art about it is hot ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

The three of us in this pic came up with the idea as a "lolno" (that's why one of them has actual nuts ๐Ÿ˜†)

Tho if you really can do it, more power to you. I won't discourage you from trying.

It's fun, I usually fail within the first week. Don't mind people who take it seriously, just be decent to others who don't and vice versa. :)

"first" is way worse. Also people who repeat the same comment over and over or the exact same comments on every post. No Nut November doesn't even come close.

NNN is a fun fetish challenge and at this point I'm pretty sure there are more people waxing tedious about how it's a Very Serious Social Problem than there ever were Reddit weirdos who believed it gave you superpowers.

Just another internet fad that haven't died out yet. As mentioned above, some people actually find it fun.

Meh, I don't like nuts that much anyway. I don't have an allergy but I don't find them particularly tasty. /s
