Okay, I've been noticing a regular influx of comments that violate the rules. Specifically the "Don't be creepy" rule, where someone might say "this is so hot". I'm pretty sure that qualifies as creepy. I might be a tad sensitive but I think would help a great deal if people were told up front at the front page instead of being asked to click a link.

Assuming these rules are still in effect, and I'm pretty sure they are, considering poor Travis got banned for making creepy comments.

don't really agree... whats wrong with saying something is hot? as long as they don't say "if that was me....." or something like that. but when they just say a pic is hot, who cares? thats not creepy. at least not the kind of creepy travis was banned for

here's a great example of creepy:

"I love her and want to marry her and have her pee on me"

or

"Got this picture makes me so hot, I'll use it when I go to the sperm bank for my weekly visit"

Both of these are prime examples of creepy. Generally providing "Too Much Information" is a great way of making your posts creepy.

"Damn that's hot" - not creepy

"god, I wish I was him" - faintly creepy, not not really.

"Oh man, I"m so fucking hard.... I want someone to do this with me.." -more creepy.

"I'll fuck you, poster C! Come here and give daddy some sugar" --Alarmingly creepy.

"*lifts his tail in the air, presenting and whimpering wantingly*" --retardedly creepy. Shoot on sight.

kaheiyattsu isn't 'creepy, IMHO. His comments lack substance, but 'I like this' isn't really bad.
Sethorth, on the other paw, is definetly dancing on the line of creepy... and annoying.

'Don't be creepy.' Is a completely arbitrary and subjective rule that was made to give us (the old management) a quick excuse to get rid of people. If you don't like the comments, I suggest voting them down. Comments aren't nearly as bad as some of the imagery that gets uploaded. This thread alone proves just how hard it actually is to enforce the 'creep' rule because everyone has a different opinion of what creepy actually is.

I don't think publicly calling them out is the right way to do it. It's not of critical importance like getting Sexyfur pictures removed, so I'd say messaging a mod is enough.

I'm in the channel almost all the time, since I can remotely connect to my home computer from work. Just because the channel is dead doesn't mean that I'm not checking it several times throughout the day.

Yeah, just because its silent does not mean there isn't anybody in there. Most of the time I'm in there too and I'm always willing to help anyone out, to the best of my ability, if they need it. Also there's a list of about 12-20+ people who are in there all the time.

fairly true, because it's simple, and a fairly nice (as in, effective) way of saying "I like this".. Not every comment can be "the method of shading the artist is using really helps to portray the emotional turmoil the submissive is going through while the fox defecates into his mouth.." (*shudders*)... and I'd rather see comments saying, in essence "I like this" rather then no comments at all. Personally. :)

But yeah, I'm next is pretty mild.. and even appropriate if, perhaps, there's a line involved in the actual *picture*...

none of these area really too creepy, just normal furry comments. I mean, saying something is hot doesn't gross me out, I'm even okay with people saying they want to fuck or hump things as long as they don;'t go into grave tmi detail about it.
