If there's text in an image, it should be searchable (IMHO).

the problem is for every image where the text is "everyone must yiff!" there are images like those here: ape_not_monkey

I don't know if I want to tell you to go ahead and start making notes without other people's input.. but if you did, I'd make sure that theyr'e small and out of the way--perhaps as tiny as possible, and put them along a border so they won't be in the way.

That said.. it wouldn't be a tiny project... D:
