It just seems to completely defeat the purpose of voting to only allow the 'elite' to vote on images. I'm of the opinion that the whole thing should just be removed.

The current status was a hasty, poorly-thought-out measure put in place by the previous administration. Last I remembered, the voting was going to be put back to how it was before (except with the multi-vote thing fixed) once more critical things are set-up / fixed and NRR has the time.

I think comment voting is rather ineffective considering how easy it is to just create multiple accounts and downvote someone's comment, or vote up your own (even if its the same account!)

guys it's been said MANY TIMES that changes to the voting system are planned, but there are much more important things to get fixed first
