Topic: post without bumping

You already were limited, we removed the limit bypass when using Post without bumping quite a while ago. So we removed Post without bumping, since it was really quite pointless.

I assumed it was still there for the same reason why imageboards typically still tend to support the "sage" function.

I only ever commented without bumping. Not to spoof the limit or anything, I just didn't want to be obtrusive. 10 comments per hour isn't very limiting at all, really.

Same. Didn't want to shove my comments in people's faces, just leaving them for people that happened to visit that image.

You too huh? That's why I used the non-bump button...only used the bumper when It was an important comment...

Exactly this. Especially when the image had old drama or controversial comments on it already and I didn't want to start it up again by bumping it up.

Also, the recent comments page is also a bit of a social hub. And sometimes I just wanted to comment on the image and leave it at that without starting a conversation over it. So posting without bumping had a few uses. I'll miss the feature sometimes, but I'll live./

Same thing, I actually kinda disagree with everyones comments on a public board (?) and simply think they should be stuck to the images alone.
