| https://inkbunny.net/journalview.php?id=281626 Due to recent enlightenments I am no longer comfortable giving permission for my artwork to be hosted on e621, let alone personally uploading it. The community of the site (insofar as comments on artwork) has always been largely toxic and fond of exploiting e621's systems to implement mandates on artists and viewers. I do not want my artwork to be available as a weapon in this system, regardless of how remote or how far in the future that chance may occur. Occasional decisions to arbitrarily / inconsistently decide that some of my work is not relevant / not good enough for an apparent elite curated gallery, subsequently quietly deleting it without any intentional notification to me, is an insult to me and a needlessly embarrassing faux pas for anyone who would post it here. Of course, artwork of mine from many years ago remains on e621, despite being particularly abhorrent. All of my modern artwork is roughly equally terrible; I will not have some of it banned and not others, and thus I request that the lot of it be off-limits, rather than be told at random times that I'm not good enough. | |
