I suppose you could send them a message and see if they's give it up for you. I guess this is an understandable request, as I use the same username across websites. It would probably bug me as well if I couldn't use "TwistedLogik" in some variation, although I normally have to settle with adding a number or symbol in. I wouldn't get my hopes up though, as it's a 4 year old account with no activity. That's a pretty clear indicator it's unused. This might justify you wanting to take their username a bit more, but the admins would have to something about it, seeing as they probably won't respond.
