I need app suggestions.

So you all know you can sync photos from your computer to your ipod. But Itunes NEVER gets all my folders of pictures right! So here I am on e621 saving photos to folders to sync them to my ipod but when I do ALL the folders are out of order.

My first solution was to use Ifunbox an app that stored images and videos on my ipod the way I wanted. it was perfect and all my furries were in order. Then everything changed when the new updates attacked...

Now it's shit and I can't save a single image to my ipod.
But I believe you will save my smut.

I don't know if Apple devices have special limitations requirements for what you want, but I can tell you that SyncToy and FreeFileSync exist. SyncToy is no longer maintained but is simple and has always met my needs whereas FreeFileSync is currently maintained and probably better and faster. I use them to preserve certain file attributes like Date Created to keep files in order when transferring them across partitions or onto flash drives.
