eh, closest thing i've seen to this is probably those videos made by kabangeh. they're probably the longest furry ones i've seen.

The only legitimate "movies" that come to mind are "Fritz the Cat", and "The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat". Both are pretty "meh" in my opinion, but I mean if you've never seen em I guess they're worth a watch. Though this was back in the era where nobody really knew how to draw a proper vagina or penis on a "furry" character.

oh yeah...i think it was this song by E-Rotic, fritz love my tits. don't know what i was thinking when i decided to check out that artist one day. that's one artist (band?) whose music i definately would never listen to without headphones on. pretty sure all of they're music is explicit.

(In terms of Japanese artists, I only really focus on works with vaginas, both in my own art, and others, and that's something they do, do well. So I don't quite follow ya.)

There's a brief feral sex scene in Felidae, though no genitals are shown. There's also a fair amount of swearing, violence, and gore. It's one of my favorite furry films.

I wish there were more stuff like it out there.

I dunno if that really counts as a "furry" film. Sex scene aside there's really nothing in it that screams "furry".

heres an example note how the cocks are traingular in shape rather than canine like you'd usually see on eeveelutions. though i suppose they do have slight bulges for the knots in that pic but it's hardly noticeable. >.>

Aye, I think that's more of the angle the shot is at, but I see what you mean. I've seen that sort of thing before where they try to keep the shorter canine-ish penis look, but toss in a knot.

It's art focused on anthropomorphic animal characters. In what sense do you not consider it furry?

True, but honestly if that's the case that rule could apply for any and all movies with "talking animals". The general consensus for a medium that makes it "furry" seems to be if the characters are bipedal and the story or themes are mature to a certain degree.

Good example being you wouldn't really call The Great Mouse Detective a "furry" film, but something like Bagi, Monster of Mighty Nature could loosely be.

This is furry but this isn't? And what about feral and rating:s? Or are you just talking about works not created specifically by or for the fandom?

In any case, perhaps I am in the minority, but I would apply the term to talking animal films as well. To me, furry is just shorthand for anthropomorphic animals, and the furry fandom is really the fandom of furry. After all, it's not like furries that are fans of TLK derivative art don't also tend to be fans of the original works.

Pretty much just works not made by, or specifically for the fandom. Fandom wise I totally agree that anthros and ferals apply, but that kinda just applies to "us".

Anthropomorphic, on the other hand, isn't exactly something that's exclusive to just "furries" and animals. Anything can be given human characteristics and a sentient life/soul or what not. So in that regard "furry" and "anthropomorphic" kinda get split into different categories for most.

Hmm, fair enough. Are you talking about the general public's impression of the word, or do most furries use it in this way as well?

Some furries use it too, but mostly the general public, who for the most part don't even know what furries are, besides the common "those weird people who dress up as animals" thing.

If we're talking about a full 1-2 hour movie, you're gonna need a team to complete that. It will at least take 8-10 months or more to finish it, depending on the work rate.

Yeah, and they have to be paid, which is the problem.

Don't get me wrong, it would be possible to just hire a bunch of Koreans for less than minimum wage to do a lot of the work, but the problem is the sale product wouldn't scale because as soon as an animated adult furry film was released, all the poor-ass furries out there would whine about it being paywalled and just pirate it cuz "I can't afford it because of my college tuition/bills etc."

That's not limited to furries. Porn flicks tend to be short for obvious reasons: the viewers usually aren't interested in watching two hour epics. Which is why short animations are far more popular, in all types of porn.

Japanese have, of course, released some hentai series that featured anthros or ferals. Though most of those are impossible to find, such as the hentai version of Dragon Century (with human x feral dragon action).

I once worked motion capture for a 3d normal porno. One of the guys doing the modelling was a furry and was going to make a 3d furry porno by swapping out the characters with furry ones.

I got to see 60 seconds of the furry version one day, then he died in a car accident. It was good, nearly as good as h0rs3s' stuff considering this was like 5 years ago. But it was 30mins of motion captured fucking with voices.

Unfortunately he kept the furry stuff on his personal computers.
