what are the rules about posting MP4 files here?

i have found some pretty nice youtube furry animations, but im not sure if youtube would be the best source for a video file.

also one video in particular keeps giving me an error 403 for some reason when i try to download it, and i made the msitake of leaving it up while my computer kept trying to download it so long story short my desktop was filled with a billion error download files lmao.

EDIT: Literally as soon as i posted this, the video was FINALLY downloaded, oh the irony.

Afaik, there's no support for uploading MP4. If you wanna upload videos, you have to convert them to WEBM first

The rules are that you literally can't upload mp4 files.

It needs to be in the webm format first. Past that I'm generally against YouTube videos as they seldom add something valuable to our archive.
If it's a full fledged animation it'll likely be approved, if it's a music "video" with a shitty gif or static image it will get deleted.

well the video itself is an aniamtion with a song on it, and the person who made it did a very awesome job.

As for converting it to WEBM, i can probably do that.

Well, that guy enjoys moving static images around and adding after effects to mix said static images up.

But I'd probably approve that if you don't butcher the quality during the convertion.
